Maui Dance Advocates is raising money to advocate for the passage of a dancing bill.  During the 2015 legislative session MDA will use the money raised to travel to the Capitol on Oahu to stir up support for dancing bills.

Similar to a walk-a-ton we are looking for dedicated dancers who would like to raise money and awareness about the restrictions to move our bodies moderately every where in Maui County.

Please contact us for more information on how to get involved.

We are having our 5th

6 hour Dance-A-Thons
at Rainbow Park Paia
January 23rd  Noon to Six

If you want to get involved now is the time.

Pledge sheets are available for interested dancers. It is like a walk-a-thon only you will dance for up to 6 hours. You do not have to dance all six hours. Six hours is the most you can dance for when excepting donations. Maui Dance Advocates has spent over $3,500 over the past 8 years fighting for Maui's right to dance.

Mahalo for many of you who have made donations in the past. Many Mahalos to Raje Anand who has donated over $400, mostly in court cost. Mahalo to Jerome James on Oahu who has been clinch in our 2011 and 2012 flash mob protest at the Capital. Mahalo to Jennifer Sutton who has logged 15 hours of dance-a-thon dancing.

We need dancers.
Get up with the Get down and come out and Dance.
